The Company is still letting their so-called leadership pass misinformation about their desired Progression Program modifications starting on January 1st of 2026. The two key areas around Lone Workers and adding an LA5 classification starting.
This requires Negotiations, our full Contract Negotiations are not until the Fall of 2026. At this time, 962 Leadership has only listened to the Company’s proposed changes, but HAS NOT and WILL NOT agree to anything without a Membership vote. We have made it clear that Lone Workers only be JLs is not feasible for Ops Center callout and/or daily work.
If your Supervisor, Director, VP, etc.… gives you specific direction (2026 Callout schedule), directs you to follow a different PSR, Line Apprentice classification, or similar, please reach out to the Local via the link below.
Please do not get into a debate with Management or inform them of 962’s intentions to fight this.
